Four-point mooring analysis for anchor retrieval

This project comprised the analysis of an anchor-loss incident on the North Sea during a diving operation and the evaluation of the four point mooring procedure.

During this project there was a high urgency for engineering advice with regards to an incident leading to anchor loss during a pipeline inspection diving operation. The mooring procedures were evaluated to avoid future calamities and ensure safety in future operations. In addition, preparations for retrieval of the anchor were evaluated, which has led to a successful retrieval of the anchor.
