During your internship at Mocean, you will have the freedom to help shape your own assignment. You can apply your academic knowledge to internal engineering methods, develop programming tools or web-based applications, or contribute to research and validation of new numerical approaches. Depending on your focus, you will work closely with one or more experienced team members who will guide and support you where needed.

During your graduation project at Mocean, you will work at the interface between academic research and practical engineering. You will be part of a fast-moving engineering consultancy while conducting your own research project, focused on real offshore challenges.
We provide supervision and guidance throughout the duration of your thesis, while following the general structure and requirements of your university. Together, we help define a relevant and meaningful topic, ideally based on real-world offshore engineering problems, while maintaining the academic rigor required for your research.
This gives you the opportunity to combine academic depth with practical engineering experience in an environment where both are valued. We typically supervise two graduation students at any given time.

The team currently consists of around 20 people, including a small management team, office support and a diverse group of junior, mid-level, and senior engineers. Several of our engineers hold PhDs in relevant engineering disciplines, but it’s not a requirement.
